Introduction

Nice to meet you, I’m Cha-chan!

I started using this name after my eldest son misheard my real name and began calling me “Cha-chan.” While raising my two sons, I enjoy sharing my personal experiences and insights with you!

About us

Cha-chan (Mother)
Through my career as a nurse, I truly realized that the time we can spend together as a family is limited. To cherish the “now,” I made the difficult decision to leave my job. Every day, I feel incredibly happy to witness my children’s growth and spend precious moments with them.

Otoh(Father):

Sons
Life is never quiet with these two! I spend my days happily chasing after my two boys.

Why I Started This Blog

While raising my two sons, I often found myself searching for answers but coming up empty. Whether it was about tandem breastfeeding or taking toddlers camping, I struggled to find real-life stories I could relate to. I wanted to know: “How did the kids react?” “What should I have prepared?” or even “When does this challenging phase end?”

Having gone through these experiences myself, I realized my journey might help someone else. I didn’t want these precious memories to fade, so I decided to start sharing them here.

What I Write About

Travel

My husband and I met while studying English in the Philippines. Back then, we were already exploring local routes by bus with friends. After we started dating, we went on countless spontaneous road trips. Now, even with two children, we travel at least once a month—our weekends are almost always full! Our family loves discovering new things and we travel every day to embrace new experiences.。

Gourmet

Due to pregnancy and years of breastfeeding, I’ve become very mindful of what we eat, prioritizing delicious yet healthy food. That said, I still have a soft spot for the occasional “junk food” (lol). Since travel and food go hand in hand, I’ll share honest reviews of places I’d love to visit again—and those that were just a one-time experience.

Parenting Experiences

From home birth and tandem breastfeeding to home-based childcare, I’ve had some unique experiences. I want to document my children’s growth and how I navigate motherhood, blending my personal style with my professional background as a nurse.

Columns

I used to work as a nurse in a palliative care ward. Back then, I was surrounded by veterans with 30 years of experience, often working over 100 hours of overtime a month. It was tough, but I learned something invaluable: life is finite. Everyone’s way of living should be respected. Because we never know when or how the curtain will fall, life is fragile yet beautiful. I learned that living authentically and staying true to what you believe in is the key to a life without regrets. I share my thoughts and mindset based on these experiences.

Favorite Lifestyle Items

I provide honest reviews of furniture, appliances, and baby gear. While I mostly introduce things I love, I also share my “regrets”—the items I wish I hadn’t bought or the pitfalls I wish I’d known about beforehand. It was hard for me to find such honest opinions when I was shopping, so I want to be that voice for you. Please keep in mind these are just my personal experiences!

Closing

You only live once. If you think “I want to try that” or “I want to go there,” don’t waste time—move while you’re still full of energy! That is our family’s motto. In a world overflowing with information, it feels like “real” stories can get buried. Everything here is written by my own hand, and I would be so happy if this blog helps or inspires you in any way.

Thank you for reading until the end.
